These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, learning management system (LMS), and educational services, including all content, features, and functionality provided through our WordPress website and LearnWorlds LMS platform (collectively, the "Services").

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

- You are solely responsible for all activities under your account

4.1 Course Registration
- Course enrollment is subject to payment of applicable fees
- Access to course materials is granted upon successful payment
- Some courses may have prerequisites or eligibility requirements
4.2 Access Duration
- Course access is granted for the specified period indicated at purchase
- Extended access may be purchased separately
- We reserve the right to modify access periods with notice
4.3 Course Enrollment and Access
We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue course content at any time. Users may lose access to prior course versions when an update is made. If a course is discontinued, users will be notified in advance.
4.4 Community and User Conduct Policy

Consequences for Violations:
datocracy reserves the right to warn, suspend, or terminate user accounts found in violation of this policy. Severe or repeated violations may result in permanent suspension.

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Fees
- All fees are in USD unless otherwise stated
- Prices are subject to change with notice
- Payment must be made in full before access is granted
5.2 Refunds
- Refund requests must be made within 30 days of purchase
- Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy
- Some courses may be non-refundable as specified at purchase

6. Intellectual Property Rights

- All content, materials, and branding are our intellectual property
- Content may not be downloaded, copied, or shared without permission
- Course materials are for personal, non-commercial use only

- You retain rights to content you create

- datocracy does not endorse or take responsibility for user-generated content shared on the platform. Users are solely responsible for the content they post, and we reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms.

6.3 Data Privacy and Security
  • datocracy collects and processes user data per our Privacy Policy to provide and improve our services.
  • User data may include account details, course progress, and interaction history within the community.
  • We do not sell or share personal data with third parties except as required by law or for platform functionality (e.g., payment processors).
  • Users have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of their data by contacting learn@datocracy.ai.
  • While we implement security measures to protect data, users are responsible for safeguarding their login credentials.

 7. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:
- Share account credentials
- Copy, distribute, or reverse engineer course materials
- Engage in disruptive behavior
- Upload malicious content

- Attempt to gain unauthorized access
- Use the Services for commercial purposes without permission

12.3 Account Deletion & Data Removal
  • Users may request account deletion by contacting learn@datocracy.ai.
  • Upon account deletion, we will remove user-generated content where legally required.
  • Some data (e.g., transaction records) may be retained for compliance purposes.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Spain, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Dispute Resolution

14.1 Informal Resolution
Users agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting learn@datocracy.ai. Disputes must be reported within 30 days of the issue arising.

14.2 Mediation
If a resolution is not reached, disputes shall be resolved through virtual mediation, facilitated by a mutually agreed-upon mediator. The costs of mediation will be shared equally by both parties.

We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations under these Terms due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, cyberattacks, governmental restrictions, labor strikes, or internet failures.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the Services. Continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.
